Yellow Gibson 5-drawer box.

Box (221x148x103mm) is English. Made of cardboard covered with yellow paper printed in black with the Gibson logo and text like ‘All Bamboo Tiles’. Inside are 4 drawers for the tiles and one for counters etc. On the inside of the lid there are some notes dated 1934.

Tiles (21x32x12mm) are Chinese. The bamboo is of a good quality. The engraving is plain. Bamboo 1 is very crude. There are 3 spare tiles.

Counters are made of bamboo with western denomination.

Dice (4x) are made of bone with Chinese points. Their holder is a Cricket box.

Wind discs are made of white bone and feature green characters. Their holder is a bone Ming box.

Instruction manual is edited by H.P. Gibson & Sons Ltd. There are also a Gibson score card and a score pad.
