Box (237x160x162mm) is Chinese. Made of handsome rosewood. It is a standard 5 drawer version with a sliding front showing two fake-jade characters and the usual copper ornaments. The blotter paper in one of the drawers features a Chinese stamp.

Tiles (22x31x12mm) are made of a standard quality, thin bone and thicker bamboo. The engraving is adequate. Two Bamboo 7 are replicas. There are no spare tiles.

Counters are of bone with Western denomination.

Dice (4x) are made of bone with Chinese points. Their holder is a cricket box.

Wind discs are made of black horn with white characters. Their holder is black horn Ming box.

The set lacks an instruction manual.
