Small, thoroughly restored box with decorated front.

Box (190x160x191mm) is Chinese. Made of attractive, dark rosewood. A square 5 drawer model with a (slightly split) sliding front with fake-jade characters surrounded by gold colored decorations. The front is restored. Drawers and shelves are added.

Tiles (19x27x11mm) are Chinese. Made of thin, standard engraved bone and thicker bamboo. They are a bit to small for the drawers. There are 4 spare tiles.

Counters are of standard quality bone with Western denomination. Note well: the normal value of the counters is 2000 p.p. This set adds up to the same amount but in a somewhat different way: instead of 10 counters of 2 points p.p. however there are only 5. In place of one extra counter of 10 points p.p. has been added to counts up to the required total.

Dice (4x) are made of bone with Chinese points. The 1 is a big red dot.

Wind indicator is a bettor made of grayish green and red celluloid.

The set lacks an instruction manual.
