Traditional, hardwood 5 drawer box with sliding front.
My first set (Amsterdam 1970). Pretty expensive at the time but worth every penny.
Box (239x163x170mm) is Chinese or Japanese. Made of hardwood and inlaid with bone. It is. There are no copper ornaments. Only two rests.
Tiles (20x30x13mm) are Chinese or Japanese. Bone and bamboo are beautifully matured. They are superbly engraved. There are 4 spare tiles.
Counters are of quality bone with Chinese denomination.
Dice (4x) are made of bone with Chinese points. Their holder is a Cricket box.
Wind discs are made of bone. Their holder is a bone Ming cylinder.
The set lacks an instruction manual.
