Box (243x165x165mm) is Chinese. Made of fine rosewood (?). The traditional model features on a lot of shiny brass ornaments (some of which are replacements). The sliding front shows a brass plaque with two Chinese characters. The 5 drawers have rather remarkable grips.
Tiles (22x32x12mm) are made of a good quality, slightly shining bone and fine bamboo. The engraving is average. Dots 1 features a capital A with a dot. There are 4 spare tiles.
Counters are made of bone with Western denomination.
Dice (4x) are made of bone with Chinese points.
Their holder is a Cricket box.
Wind discs are made of black horn with white characters. Their holder is a black horn Ming-box.
