Flat box with almost normal sized cards.
One of Chad Valley’s last Mah-Jongg sets.

Box (140x196x23mm) is English. Made of cardboard pasted with blue paper printed with silver. Inside are four partitions for the cards. With red lifting ribbons.

Cards (53x78mm) are English. Their size is a bit smaller than normal cards. They are almost similar to the Chad Valley characters and graphics on the tiles. Dots 1 and the Red and Green Dragons differ. The back of the cards show the typical Chad Valley wind characters on red and white triangles. There belong no spare cards to the set.

There belong no counters, dice and wind discs to the set.

Instruction manual, 18th edition July 1957, is probably the very last edition of the Chad Valley booklet. With on page 2 of the cover all publishing data of Chad Valley’s editions since 1923.
