Large, rectangular red box with loose lid
and embossed tiles.
Box (41x160x50mm) is English. Made of cardboard pasted with hammered paper. On top the Chad Valley label is pasted. Inside a little box holds counters etc. The left over space contains the tiles and four green lacquered racks.
Tiles (21x30x13mm) are English. Made from red lacquered wood with embossed paper labels with the Chad Valley characters and graphics. Three missing Bamboos 4 are replicated using surplus Bamboos 2.
Counters are rather rough punched out discs of thin cardboard. 81x light-blue, 123x dark-blue. Value is uncertain.
Dice (2x) are made of blackened wood with western points.
Wind discs (4x) are made from cardboard covered with paper printed with Chad Valley wind characters.
