Small blue checkered box with (exceptional!) bamboo tiles.

Box (206x130x92mm) is English. Made of cardboard pasted with blue and black checkered paper. The atypical Chad Valley label reads ‘Genuine Chinese Bamboo. Specially imported by the Chad Valley Co’. Inside is 1 tray for tiles and a loose box for counters etc. Plus 3 trays for tiles. The box is restored.

Tiles (21x28x10mm) are Chinese. Made of bamboo. There are 4 spare tiles.

Counters are made of bone with western points.

Dice (4x) are made of bone with Chinese points. Their holder is a Cricket-box.

Wind discs are made of black horn with white characters. Their holder is a Ming cylinder made of black horn.
