Low brown 5-drawer box with sliding front.
Box (232x113x155mm) is English but tries to look Chinese. Made of varnished wood and
with one typical Chad Valley grip.At the inside of the sliding front there is a oval disk with the makers’ name ‘Chad Valley Works’ etc. The front shows the two jade-green Chad Valley characters. Insideare four drawers for tiles and one with partitions for counters etc. The trays have metal rings.
Tiles (19x28x10mm) are English. Made of so called French Bakelite (Casein) with rounded corners. The Chad Valley-characters and graphics are imprinted. There are no spare tiles.
Counters are big, colored discs of bone. Value only 1000 points per person.
Dice (2x) are made of bone and havewestern points.
Wind discs (4x) are made from metal and feature the typical Chad Valley wind characters.
