Silk covered attaché case with grip and locks.

Box (328x203x57mm) is Chinese. Made of cloth covered wood. The case is low and rectangular. Inside there are four loose trays for the tiles and a loose, narrow holder with lid and compartments for counters etc.

Tiles (17x24x12mm) are made of quality but thin bone and thick bamboo. The engraving is skilled. The flower tiles are touristic. There are four jokers and four spare tiles.

Counters are of bone with Chinese denominations.

Dice (4x) are made of bone with Chinese points.

Wind indicators are discs made of bone with angular Chinese characters.

Instruction manual is one of those undated, over and over reprinted Chinese booklets.
