Box (223x165x68mm) is Chinese. Made of fine rosewood. The model is wide and high. The lid is nicely framed but lacks carved characters. The copper grip on one of the short sides is traditional Chinese.

Tiles (20x27x11mm) are Chinese. Made of average, very thin bone combined with much thicker bamboo. The engraving is standard. The Green Dragon is unusual square. There are four spare tiles.

Counters are made of bone with western denomination.

Dice (4x) are made of bone with Chinese points. Their holder is a Cricket box.

Wind discs are made of bone and feature green characters without initials. Their holder is a bone Ming box.

The set lacks an instruction manual.
