Golconda sliding box.
Box (105x95x35mm) is German. Made of cardboard pasted with brownish paper printed a.o.* with the Golconda Buddha. The sliding inside has compartments for cards, counters and dice.
* D.R.G.M. stands for Deutsches Reich Gebrauchsmuster (German State Registered Design). From 1920 to 1930 Germany banned the import of a.o. Chinese Mah Jongg sets.
Cards (30x85mm) are German. They have the narrow Chinese dimensions. With exception of the flower cards, they are printed with pictures of Chinese figures. The back shows the Golconda Buddha and logo.
Counters (© 9mm) are discs of cardboard. Pasted with colored paper. Their denomination is unclear. They are incomplete.
Dice (2x) are made of synthetic material with western points.
There belong no spare cards, wind indicators and instruction manual to the set.
