Box (240x130x55mm) is American. Made of heavy cardboard pasted with paper printed with black text. Inside is one big compartment for the tiles and a small one for counters and dice.

Tiles (21x30x11mm) are made from untreated wood. Printed with characters and images. With a remarkable interpretation of the Bamboos. The Red and White dragons feature text. There are no spare tiles.

Counters are long, thin and round sticks of wood..

Dice (2x) are made of bone with Western points.

There belong no wind discs to the set.

Instruction manual is a belonging booklet called ‘Simplified Rules second American edition’.
