US general 26

Mandarin Set. Unique carrying case with handle at the front.

Box (200x93x127mm) is American. Made of cardboard pasted with black textured paper. Upright model with a thin metal handle and a small ‘cigar box’-lock. Within are 2 drawers for the tiles and one for counters and dice. Inside a gold colored label is pasted with the set’s name and logo.

Tiles (20x27x12mm) are rather exceptional. They made of wood that has been painted black and rounded at the corners. The top has a slight indentation to hold pasted on pieces of lacquered paper printed with standard characters and images. There are no spare tiles.

Counters are long, thin and round sticks of colored wood in green, blue, yellow and red.

Dice are made of bone with Western points.

There are (belong?) no wind discs and instruction manual.
