Dark green 5-drawer box
with picture of the Mandarin.
Box (242x162x145mm) is American. Made of cardboard covered with faded paper. With on the trimmed lid the Pirexloid Mandarin. Inside are 4 trays for the tiles and 4 small ones for counters etc.
Tiles (22x32x8mm) are made of plain, lacquered, monochrome printed wood. They are typical for Piroxloid. Like the bird on Bamboo 1, the letters on the Dragons and the flower tiles. There belong no spare tiles to the set.
Counters are celluloid strips. Color (and length) specify their value. (See sticker.)
Dice (2x) are made of bone with western points.
Wind discs are made of French Ivory. Their holder is made of thin French Ivory.
