Flat, almost square box.
Box (323x272x34mm) is American. Made of cardboard pasted with purple-gray paper printed in gold with a Pung Chow dragon. Inside are trays for tiles and small trays for counters etc.
Tiles (22x30x1mm) are made of wood with on both side a layer of celluloid. Characters etc. are typical Pung Chow. Except for the White dragon which is blank with a red P. The flower tiles are based on Paraffine. There belong no spare tiles to the set.
Counters are made of synthetic material with Western denomination. Their value is 3000 instead of 2000 p.p.
Dice (2x) are made of bone with Western points.
There belong no wind discs to the set.
Instruction manual is the red booklet ‘Pung Chow in 10 minutes.’ ©1923. There are also twee score cards and a score-meter by Pung Chow. Plus a packing slip.
